Pune Metro | Maha-Metro wants special planning authority status like Nagpur
Maharashtra: For Pune the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha-Metro) has demanded for special planning authority (SPA) status, like in Nagpur.This status will be helpful in different way which will also helpful for devloping the land. Recently the Maha-Metro got the SPA status in Nagpur. The SPA will help in organisation plan for developing the lands for this reason only the Maha-Metro is expecting the same in Pune. The Managing Director Brijeh Dixit said that the SPA status is applicable only for Maha-Metro’s properties and the commercial properties coming on Metro lands. The Pune metro which at present one of the fast developing metro. Which also focus regional employment development. Mr. Dixit further stated said that the Maha-Metro has planned some commercial buildings at Civil Court station, Multi-Model hub at Swargate and Shivajinagar.
