MEGA Metro | Destruction can be caused by rain on Ahmedabad metro rail route

Ahmedabad: The people of Ahmedabad are going to face a lot of problems due to the monsoon round the corner, the narrow and the potholed roads will create problems. As the major portion of the roads in the ahmedabad metro work are used and nothing more than a narrow patch road is left for the commuters on the both sides.

Bullet Train | High Speed train essential for country, says railway board chairman

Mumbai: Calling the bullet train “extremely essential for India” Railway Boards Chairman Ashwani Lohani. The bullet train corridor from Mumbai-Ahmedabad is being implemented by The National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHRC) and state government of Maharastra and Ahmedabad with technical and financial assistance from Japan, it is the first country to have a high technology bullet train.

Bangalore Metro | Work on ORR line has started in Bengaluru

Bangalore: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) has came out with its initial message for the properties that will be needed for the outer ring road (ORR) line. This project is of 36,782 sq mt of land including 48 properties that will be acquired.

The first project that will be build with the supports from the corporate on Namma Metro lines will be a rs. 4,202 crore project. This will connect KR Puram junction to Silk Board junction (phase- 2A) via ORR and it will be 17- km elevated line.

Metro coaches and bullet trains to be built in Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh

Raebareli: There is good news for residents of Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh. Soon they will get facility of Metro and bullet train coach factory near their residency area. The capacity of rail coach factory at Lalganj, Raebareli will increase three times. It will also have the construction of a coaches of proposed metro railway and high speed bullet train projects. Chennai Metro | AAI and CMRL clash over food counters and forex at airport metro

Chennai: The much talked about Chennai Airport Metro station now finds itself in a new controversy. The two authorities - Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) are at loggerheads over stalls to be put up at metro station. As per AAI they should get the chance to put up stalls as the station is at their campus. CMRL on the other hands argues that since they will manage the Chennai Metro station, they should be allowed to set up stalls.

This clash is for the food counters and foex counters. As per the norms CMRL manages the stations. They had also invited tender from interested parties for setting up stalls, ATMs and forex counters. The controversy started when AAI learnt about the forex counters set up at metro. For this reason talks were then initiated by AAI and CMRL over the rights to set up stalls.

Bengaluru: For HSRL, state government seeking  fund from central government for completing the phase 2 project of Namma Metro from Gottigere to the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) with High Speed Rail Link (HSRL).The project will carried out once the approval of central government is done. Mumbai: Mumbai Mono Rail employees suffering in delay of salary payment, even employees did not got appraisal from past 3 years and from 2016 onward delay of salaries has been hovering, from April 2018 more than 200 employees has not got their payment.
