Nagpur Metro | Maha Metro submits DPR for Phase II project to state govt
Nagpur: Nagpur metro phase II project’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is submitted by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited ( Maha Metro ) to state government’s Urban Development Department (UDD). The department will study the report in details and if they have any quarries they can question the DPR. After everything found Okay, then UDD will forward the DPR to state cabinet for approval. After the delay of 2 months. DPR is prepared by Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES). RITES had already completed its study which included traffic, topographic and geotechnical data and gave the green light to Phase ll earlier in February. Phase II will have five stretches having a total length of 48.3 km and 35 stations. The cost of the phase is about Rs10,500 crore at 2018 prices.
