Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is taking sustainable travel on an aggressive mode. After setting up electric car base at metro stations, the metro officials are all set to offer electric bike. This is an added advantage for passengers who will travel using metro. As per the details, riders will be able to rent the e-bike, take it home and return it back the next day while travelling in metro.  HMRL will offer e-bikes at affordable rates to passengers. The service was formally inaugurated and the facility is available from at various stations. The rent for the e-bike is fixed at Rs 4 per kilometre and passengers can keep the vehicle with them overnight. They can then return the bike at any of the metro station the other day.
