Mumbai : The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) got orders from the Hon"ble Bombay High Court to cut trees for the Metro line 3 but the Supreme court also taking care of the matter of transplanting trees to somewhere else. MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) had clarified the number of trees cut during the construction and the number of trees transplanted. For the better future trees are very important and it is important to conserve them. The judicial committee stated that MMRCL should take responsibility of trees. The high court of Mumbai appointed senior judges to lead the committee and take the matter more seriously and sort the grievances related to cutting down of trees.
