Bangalore Metro | Commuters delayed after technical snag on green line

Bengaluru: On Thursday commuters on Bangalore Metro"s Green Line were forced to wait for over half-an-hour for a train after a technical glitch in one of the trains while it was travelling from Yelachenahalli to Nagasandra. At around 9.45 am the problem occurred, when the train was en route National College Metro Station and many passengers at subsequent stations were left waiting. Due to glitches services was delayed hundreds of passengers while they were commuting to work. Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) Managing Director Ajay Seth said that on Thursday about at 9.46 am, a train running from Yelachenahalli to Nagasandra on the Green Line developed a technical snag while approaching the National College Metro Station. Delhi Metro | CMRS gives green signal to open DMRC"s Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor

New Delhi: The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has issued safety certificate to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to open its long waited Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor on Green Line (Line-5). Simultaneously, the hope of opening this section for the public (passenger) service soon has increased. However, due to lack of land for the maintenance of Metro trains and Metro Industrial Estates for the parking, the frequency of trains will be reduced. The frequency will increase significantly after completion of Depot construction work at Bahadurgarh. With the opening of this section, this area of ​​Bahadurgarh (Haryana) will be become third one which will be directly connected to Delhi via metro network. Gurgaon (Gurugram) and Faridabad have already been connected to the Delhi metro network. Bahadurgarh Metro | DMRC team inspects Mundka-bahadurgarh route before final safety trial

Bahadurgarh: There is good news for people waiting for the Metro train to reach Bahadurgarh. If the trial is okay, then they will have to wait longer for only 30 days. After this, the Metro train will start run for 2 lakh people of Bahadurgarh. For this, Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) will conduct a final inspection of the Metro corridor on May 30 for important investigations before opening of Mundka-Bahadurgarh Metro corridor. On Tuesday, the a team the Delhi metro officers came to Bahadurgarh to investigate the preparation. During this period, minor investigation of 11.182 kilometer long elevated section track, signal, station, safety from Mundka to Bahadurgarh were also done. DMRC writes letter for taking Safety Clearance Certificate Only after satisfying the safety arrangements, the officials issue safety certificates, then the metro station will be opened for the public.
