Chennai Metro | CMRL to inspect 21km elevated corridor

Chennai:  The  Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) will be carrying out inspection the of 21km elevated corridor. The test will be conducted to understand the structural strength of the work. This is to check the stability of elevated metro corridors that constructed across two arterial roads. CMRL will soon carry on ut inspection drive of the constructed structures. To carry out the inspection work, Chennai Metro officials are trying to identify firms with expertise. The selected firm will investigate, inspect and prepare a report and offer suggestions if any. CMRL operates a 21km elevated corridor beginning from Thirumangalam ramp to St Thomas Mount and the other from Saidapet ramp to Airport.
