Hyperloop | Does India really need the Hyperloop Transportation?

Hyperloop is a new form of transportation that moves people quickly and safely. Passengers are loaded into the hyperloop vehicle via electric propulsion through low-pressure tubes. The pods carrying passengers travel through tubes from which most of the air has been removed to reduce friction. This allows the pods to travel at up to 750 miles per hour, rather than using the wheel like in train the pods are designed to float on air skis by using magnetic levitation to reduce friction. Maharashtra signs MoU with Virgin Hyperloop group to build first Hyperloop route in India

Mumbai: Virgin Hyperloop One announced the Indian State of Maharashtra’s intent to build a hyperloop between Pune and Mumbai beginning with an operational demonstration track. Virgin Group Founder and Virgin Hyperloop One Chairman Sir Richard Branson announced the Framework Agreement in the presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to begin the development of the route. Hyperloop Technology | HTT to launch India’s first Hyperloop train in Andhra Pradesh

Los Angeles: In a press release  Hyperloop Transportation Technologies  announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) on 6th September 2017, to facilitate the development of HTT’s Hyperloop Transportation System. The proposed route for the Hyperloop is between the city centers of Vijaywada and Amaravati, potentially turning a trip of more than one hour into a 6 minute ride.
