Indore Metro | Forest department get 30 hectare land in lieu for metro depot plot
Indore: Dhar district administration finally manages to overcome hurdles coming in way for Metro Rail in Indore. The administration has offered 30 hectares of land to the forest department. This is in exchange for the land which is identified for developing metro depot. The land earmarked for metro depot is Chhota Bangadada near Super Corridor. Deepak Singh while speaking to Time of India, a well-known publication shared that they have transferred ownership rights to forest department. Over 30 hectares has been given in exchange for the plot identified for constructing depot for the Metro Rail project. Satyendra Kumar Sagar, Dhar DFO had confirmed that they have received 30.1 hectare of land from administration. He also shared that they will have to carry out planning for plantation on the Dhar land. The expense for the same will be looked after by MP Metro Rail Limited (MPMRPL).
