Chennai: There is very good news for Chennai metro commuters, now commuters no need to wait for a long time at Chennai’s metro stations, thanks to the latest update on the CMRL app. A new updated App has been introduced to Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. (CMRL) app which will give real-time information on all arrivals and delays of trains at all stations in the city. Apart from this app will also help you to recharge your smart card and send complaints to metro authorities in case something goes wrong. Before this, the CMRL app uses to give information regarding the daily train timetable. The distance covered, cost of journey and names of the station can be known through this App. However, commuters had frequent problems with the timings as the trains would come 10 minutes after the app alerted the commuters.
