Delhi Metro | CMRS to carry safety check of Shiv Vihar-Trilokpuri section on Pink Line

New Delhi: Finally Commissioner for Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) has given his date to carry out the safety inspection of 17.86 km long stretch of Shiv Vihar - Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake on Pink Line (Line-7) on October 20. After successful inspection and obtaining safety clearance, this section will be opened for the public. This section having 15 elevated stations including three interchange facilities. The stations come in this section are Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake, East Vinod Nagar-Mayur Vihar-II, Mandawali-West Vinod Nagar, IP Extension, Anand Vihar ISBT, Karkardooma, Karkardooma Court, Krishna Nagar, East Azad Nagar, Welcome, Jaffrabad, Maujpur- Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave, and Shiv Vihar. The three interchange stations on this new section are Anand Vihar (Blue Line), Karkarduma (Blue Line) and Welcome (Red Line).  After the opening of this new section, the Delhi Metro network will expand to 314 km. Delhi Metro | CMRS gives green signal to open DMRC"s Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor

New Delhi: The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has issued safety certificate to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to open its long waited Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor on Green Line (Line-5). Simultaneously, the hope of opening this section for the public (passenger) service soon has increased. However, due to lack of land for the maintenance of Metro trains and Metro Industrial Estates for the parking, the frequency of trains will be reduced. The frequency will increase significantly after completion of Depot construction work at Bahadurgarh. With the opening of this section, this area of ​​Bahadurgarh (Haryana) will be become third one which will be directly connected to Delhi via metro network. Gurgaon (Gurugram) and Faridabad have already been connected to the Delhi metro network. New Delhi: The Commissioner for Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) has today issued safety clearance along with certain conditions to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on completion of his safety inspection of remaining section 25.6 km of Magenta Line between Kalakaji Mandir – Janakpuri Wes t (Line-8).  CMRS Shri S.K. Pathak along with his team have completed safety inspection on the Kalakaji Mandir – Janakpuri West section from 7- 10th May 2018. New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today started test runs on the 8.10 kms stretch between the Lajpat Nagar and Sir Vishweshwaraiah Moti Bagh section of the upcoming 59 km long Majlis Park – Shiv Vihar corridor (Line 7) of Phase-III, also known as the Pink Line. The Test Runs were flagged off by Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director, DMRC in the presence of other senior officials.
