Delhi Metro | CMRS issues safety clearance to open remaining section of Magenta Line

New Delhi: The Commissioner for Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) has today issued safety clearance along with certain conditions to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on completion of his safety inspection of remaining section 25.6 km of Magenta Line between Kalakaji Mandir – Janakpuri West (Line-8).  CMRS Shri S.K. Pathak along with his team have completed safety inspection on the Kalakaji Mandir – Janakpuri West section from 7- 10th May 2018. Here are the detailed report-









In his detailed report, he directed DMRC to after fulfillment of all conditions and rectification of observation given is Inspection report DMRC should open metro services on this section before 30th June 2018.



After opening of this section entire Magenta line of DMRC will be in service of public.

Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail Limited has officially released a route map for its ambitious phase 2 metro project that will connect far-flung areas of the city through three corridors. Delhi Metro | Centre approves extension of Blue line from City Center to Noida Sec-62

New Delhi: The Central Government has today approved extension of Delhi Metro’s Dwarka Sec 21 – Noida City Center (Blue Line) to Noida Sector 62, which borders Ghaziabad in the UP, with an investment of Rs 1,967 crore. The extension will cover a distance of 6.675 km and will have six metro stations between Noida City Center and Noida Sector 62 on Blue Line. This section will provide metro facility to a large number of people living in Noida, in addition to serving residents of areas near Ghaziabad. Briefing reporters on the decision taken cabinet minister Ravi Shanakr Prasad said that Noida is expanding in terms of commercial and educational facilities and that the expanded line will help increase people’s mobility.
