Jaipur Metro | Stakeholders okay extension of Phase II project
Jaipur: The stakeholders of Jaipur metro approved the updated project report for Phase II of Jaipur metro on Friday. Phase II has been proposed on the length of 29.5 km between Sitapura and Vishwakarma Industrial Area and has a further agreement of extension of the route by 8 km as the plan is for the extension of Sitapura, which needs to be connected with Ring Road by the year 2031. Ashwani Saxena, director project Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) said “In the initial detailed project report submitted by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, the second phase was proposed on the length of 23.8 kilometers between Sitapura and Ambabari.
