Nagpur Metro | Woman dupe of Rs 3.5 lakh on job promise

Nagpur :  Police have booked a man for duping a woman for providing job in Nagpur Metro Rail Project. He duped 3.50 lakh for providing a job to her son as the metro is providing a job to her son. As the metro work is moving forward at a fast pace. Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited  (NMRC) is now known as Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha Metro) Limited. State Govt, Maha Metro and Indian Rly signs MoU to run HSR trains

Nagpur: The Maharashtra government, MahaMetro and the Indian Railways on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)   at Suresh Bhat Hall. Nagpur and adjourning areas have achieved another important milestone. The event was attended by State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari and other dignitaries. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal was praising the idea of connecting the cities with Nagpur through metro, said the Indian Railways will replicate the model in other parts of the country if it succeeds in the state. Nagpur Metro | Maha Metro submits DPR for Phase II project to state govt

Nagpur: Nagpur metro phase II project’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is submitted by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited ( Maha Metro ) to state government’s Urban Development Department (UDD). The department will study the report in details and if they have any quarries they can question the DPR. After everything found Okay, then UDD will forward the DPR to state cabinet for approval. After the delay of 2 months. DPR is prepared by Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES). RITES had already completed its study which included traffic, topographic and geotechnical data and gave the green light to Phase ll earlier in February. Phase II will have five stretches having a total length of 48.3 km and 35 stations. The cost of the phase is about Rs10,500 crore at 2018 prices. Ahmedabad Metro | Siemens bags electrification contract Gujarat Metro Link Express

Ahmedabad: Metro Link for Gandhinagar and Ahmadabad (MEGA) today announced that Siemens will implement the electrification of metro rail project. The MEGA Metro Authority has granted a contract order of approximately Rs. 579 crore (76.04 million euros) for the consortium of Siemens Limited India and Siemens AG, Germany, for the electrification of the 39.2 kilometer Metro Express Link in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Metro | Siemens is awarded to electrification of Gujarat Metro Link Express

Ahmedabad: Siemens will implement the electrification of Gujarat Metro Link Express, it was announced today. The Indian mass transit operator Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Limited has granted an order of approximately Rs. 579 crore (76.04 million euros) for the consortium of Siemens Limited India and Siemens AG, Germany, for the electrification of the 39.2 kilometer Metro Express Link in Ahmedabad, according to a statement issued on Monday. The line, currently under construction, will be executed in the city of Ahmedabad in two corridors. Siemens will be responsible for the complete electrification of the new double-track Metro line.
