Lucknow Metro | LMRC to complete special cantilever span over Gomti River by September

Highlights:- Lucknow Metro set target to install special cantilever span over Gomti Nagarby September this year. Construction of special span of 180 meters is started between Indira Nagar Metro Station and Munshipulia. The construction work for the stairs at all metro stations are in full pace whereas on other side the construction work for concourse area"s base slab of all metro stations are completed. New Delhi: The Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) today informed that the LMRC  Managing Director, Kumar Keshav reviewed the development progress of Metro construction work on the North-South Corridor of Section (1B). The contractors were also accompanied with him during the entire inspection. He first oversaw the ongoing construction work of KD Singh Metro Station which will be the first metro station of this section. UP Govt approves DPR of Kanpur, Agra and Meerut Metro Rail projects

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very serious about the proposed Metro projects in Uttar Pradesh. According to officials of the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC), the approval of the Detail Project Report (DPR) of the Metro rail projects in Kanupar , Meerut and Agra has been received by the Deputy Government. After this the DPR has now been sent to the Central Government for approval. Hopefully this will soon be passed in the central Government cabinet too. LMRC Managing Director Kumar Keshav informed about this in a special interaction with Media. He said, the UP government has approved the DPR prepared for the metro rail projects in Kanpur , Meerut and Agra cities. This proposal has now been sent to the center. He said that after receiving approval from the Union Urban Development Ministry, the DPR will be sent to the central government cabinet. After approval of the Cabinet, further work will be started. Lucknow Metro | LMRC to extend to Unnao,Barabanki, Rae Bareli and Sitapur

Lucknow: Following the path of the Delhi metro, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) plans to extend metro services to the Lucknow satellite cities such as Barabanki, Unnao, Rae Bareli and Sitapur. A team of LMRC officials has identified the new routes and will soon conduct a feasibility study and prepare a detailed project report (DPR). “One should not be surprised if Lucknow Metro connects satellite cities such as Barabanki, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Hardoi or Sitapur.The Delhi metro also connects Noida, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Faridabad and Gurgaon.One has to wait for expansion,” said the director Manager of LMRC, Kumar Keshav. The LMRC has left an opening to expand towards Barabanki from Munshipulia through the Faizabad road. Similarly, it will not be difficult to expand the route from Charbagh to SGPGIMS towards Mohanlalganj. Lucknow: A group of 200 Supportive Power Angles from 1090 visited the Charbagh Metro Station under the supervision of Ms. Babita Singh (DSP, 1090) where they were welcomed by Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, senior officials of the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation .
