Patna Metro | Bihar Govt. plans to form Patna Metro Rail Corporation in line with DMRC
Patna: The Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC) will be formed on the lines of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). This corporation will also look after the work of construction and maintenance of metro rail project in Patna. The Urban Development and Housing Department has sent proposals to the Finance Department regarding the formation of Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC). Once approved by the finance department, the proposal will go to the state cabinet, where the process of formation of the corporation will start after acceptance. Presently, the process of setting up of revised DPR of Patna Metro is underway in collaboration with NIT (National Institute of Technology) and RITES .
