Mumbai Metro | L&T wins contract for electrification work of Metro-3 project
Mumbai: The Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) awarded contract for electrical system works pertaining to power supply for the Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro 3 project of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRC). MMRC signed a System Contract Agreement (SCA) with L&T Ltd. on Friday. The contract was signed by A. A. Bhatt, Director (Systems) of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation and Puneet Arora on behalf of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. This contract package covers work of design, installation, testing and commissioning of power supply works including receiving sub-stations, 110kV cabling works, traction sub-stations, switching stations, auxiliary main sub-stations, SCADA system and integration with other systems. “Power supply works is a critical component of Metro 3 implementation.
