Hyderabad Metro | Get a taste of airport luxury at metro stations soon
Hyderabad: In a bid to improve commuter’s experience, Hyderabad Metro will soon be offering trolley service akin to those available at airport. Riders will soon be able to travel hassle-free as they can pick up a trolley from metro station, carry to the railway station or bus depot. With this service a metro commuter can pick a trolley, offload the luggage on it and reach railway or bus station. They can then leave the trolley at the platform itself after taking the luggage off it. Managing director Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), NVS Reddy shared that work on the remaining Corridor One that is the Ameerpet to LB Nagar stretch will be completed by end of July. In August this stretch will be made operational and open to public. Reddy explaining the trolley service facility said that commuters will get airport like ambience at metro stations.
