Bangalore Metro | Commuters delayed after technical snag on green line

Bengaluru: On Thursday commuters on Bangalore Metro"s Green Line were forced to wait for over half-an-hour for a train after a technical glitch in one of the trains while it was travelling from Yelachenahalli to Nagasandra. At around 9.45 am the problem occurred, when the train was en route National College Metro Station and many passengers at subsequent stations were left waiting. Due to glitches services was delayed hundreds of passengers while they were commuting to work. Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) Managing Director Ajay Seth said that on Thursday about at 9.46 am, a train running from Yelachenahalli to Nagasandra on the Green Line developed a technical snag while approaching the National College Metro Station. Bangalore Metro | More than 500 de-boarded with metro break jammed

Bengaluru: Sunday ride for commuters turned ugly with Bangalore metro train’s brakes jammed at RV Station. The technical snag forced officials to stop the train from operating temporarily on one section of Metro’s Green Line. Over 500 metro commuters were asked to de-board the train till the issue was fixed. This caused a delay of 20 minutes and the spill over effect was seen on other two train schedule. The trains headed towards Kempe Gowda Metro station was delayed. A senior metro official informed that the incident took place at 11.36. The brakes jammed just when the train was about to depart from RV Road Station. It was heading towards Jayanagar Metro Station. A passenger on board narrating the experience shared that the train had to be steered in reverse direction by use of a rear engine to Yelachenahalli. Delhi Metro | Heavy water flood in tunnel hits metro services in magenta line

New Delhi: On 14 July by late evening large number of commuters awaited and trapped as Delhi metro between Janakpuri West- Botanical Garden (Magenta Line) was delay by 2 hour 30 minutes due to technical snag. This was time when most of commuters were returning from work place faced hard to reach to their home. there was water logged in most of surrounding area. This the second incident occur in this month in same line , it was 25 December 2017 when first services was started from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji  Mandir and on 28 May 2018 second phase services was started from Kalkaji Mandir to Janakpuri West. It is hardly one month completed and within short period two incidents occur which could largely affect the life of commuters. Now the main issue is that who is responsible for this, the main focused of Metro was to provide affordable and safe services to Delhiites but after the sudden fare hike it has neither affordable nor safe for commuters.
