Afcons infra bags Contract Worth Rs 1011 Cr Under Package C1 of the Ahmedabad Metro

Ahmedabad (Metro Rail News): AFCONS Infrastructure Limited - A Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company has emerged as the lowest bidder for Package C1 of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project. The financial bids after the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd also known as GMRC opened the financial bids today.
Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. had invited tenders from eligible firms on January 20, 2020. After the evaluation of technical bids, the Financial bids were opened today in which Afcons emerged as the winner. The estimated cost of the bid was Rs 1017.31 Crores with a work period of 30 months (2 years 6 months).

Scope of work

km elevated viaducts and additional platform at Koteshwar Road station for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II from Motera to Mahatma Mandir and GNLU to GIFT City (excl. E&M,
Architectural, finishing and roofing) under Package – C1 of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project.
