Lucknow Metro | LMRC completed their intensive training programme on Soft Skills

Lucknow:  English Proficiency with flying colors today.  Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) had collaborated with Amity University, Lucknow for a dedicated training in these skills to the candidates recently. This is in addition to the intensive technical training that has been imparted to the trainees at the Centre of Excellence for Training (COET), Transport Nagar Metro Depot.

The two-week English Proficiency and Soft Skills Training Programme which concluded today for a batch of 33 participants included Junior Engineers of Electrical discipline, PR Assistants, HR Assistants, and Account Assistant, had commenced on 24th September 2018. Such training programmes are being conducted in different batches for over 150 new recruits. Separate batches of Assistant Managers, Junior Engineers, Station Controllers, and Train Operators had undergone training in early September and the remaining candidates are scheduled to attend the programme in the months of October and November.

To inculcate professionalism and work ethics, different topics like Presentation Skills, Team Building, Formal Greetings, Decision Making, and Problem Solving etc. are covered in-depth by ASCENT, Amity University during the period.

Shri Kumar Keshav, MD, LMRC said, “The idea behind this training program is to make our trainees adept for every challenge both professionally and personally. Skills like effective problem solving, communication proficiency and conflict management are not only helpful on the professional front but on the social front as well. I wish our trainees all the very best for their new journey at LMRC.”

The training program concluded with a valedictory session followed by an impressive talent show by the trainees where they displayed an exemplary repertoire of singing, poetry, mimicry, dance etc.
