Tender open for underground stations of North-South corridor of Pune Metro Rail

The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (Maha Metro) on behalf of Pune Metro Rail Project (A joint venture of Govt. of India & Govt. of Maharashtra) has invited tenders for two underground metro projects. Those interested can read the details below.

The tenders are invited for design and construction of stations and associated tunnels in two underground sections viz. Budhwar Peth  - Swargate and Shivajinagar -  Budhwar Peth on the North-South corridor of Pune metro rail project.

Tender Notice No. P1UGC-01/2018 Dt. 24.05.2018:Design and Construction of underground stations viz. Shivajinagar and Civil Court and tunnels between Agriculture College and Northern End of Budhwar Peth station on the North-South corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project.

Key Details of Tender Notice No. P1UGC-01/2018 Dt. 24.05.2018:

Scope of work: Design and Construction of underground stations viz. Shivajinagar and Civil Court and tunnels between Agriculture College and Northern End of Budhwar Peth station on the North-South corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project.
  • Estimated Cost of Project: INR 562.5 Crore

  • Completion Period: 182 weeks

  • Documents on sale: Documents can be downloaded from Maha-Metro’s e-tender Portal from 26.05.2018 to 10.07.2018 up to 1600 hrs.

  • Cost of documents: INR 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) non-refundable (inclusive of applicable taxes) through e-payment by Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking, as per procedure given in e-tender portal.

  • Tender Security for the project:  The total bid security amount shall be INR 56.25 Crore submitted as in form of Bank Guarantee, as per procedure given in bid documents.

  • Date & Time of submission of Tender: On 10.07.2018 up to 1600 hrs

  • Date & Time of Opening of Tender: On 10.07.2018 at 1630 hrs

Delhi Metro | CMRS to start inspection of Durgabai Deshmukh-Lajpat Nagar section

New Delhi: The Pink Line is the second new line of Phase III of Delhi Metro which was partially opened on 14 March 2018. There will be an inspection of Delhi Metro"s Pink line, from Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus to Lajpat Nagar stations. The inspection will be done by the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) on July 23. The inspection will concentrate on the way for the opening of the section, which is likely to be inaugurated early next month, the official said. This stretch will have two interchange points INA and Lajpat Nagar. There are six new stations on this 8.10 Km stretch which are are Sir Vishveshariah Moti Bagh, Bhikhaji Cama Place, Sarojini Nagar, INA, South Extension and Lajpat Nagar.
